From which week of pregnancy can I receive prenatal massage?+

We typically begin from the second trimester (week 13+), after your first prenatal check-ups. First-trimester guests are welcomed for consultation, breathwork and nutrition support, with hands-on therapy resumed once cleared.

Is Ayurvedic prenatal massage safe?+

Yes — when performed by a qualified Ayurvedic doctor. Dr. Nikhila uses gentle side-lying Abhyanga, pregnancy-safe herbal oils and avoids Marma points and abdominal pressure that are contraindicated in pregnancy. Share your obstetric history in your intake call.

How is this different from a regular pregnancy massage in Sydney?+

Most pregnancy massage in Sydney is spa-style relaxation. Ours is a doctor-led Ayurvedic treatment: pulse diagnosis, dosha-balanced oils, breathwork and dietary guidance — designed for nervous-system regulation, sleep, swelling and back pain through pregnancy.

Do I need to travel to Dangar Island?+

Yes — treatments happen on-site at our island retreat centre, one hour from Sydney CBD. Many guests pair a single prenatal day with a quiet overnight in a nearby Airbnb on Dangar, Little Wobby or Brooklyn.

Can my partner join?+

Absolutely. Partners are welcome for the consultation, breathwork and an optional companion massage so you both arrive home regulated.
